Born and Raised

Judy's love of exploring began early as she went with her Father, driving in his Volkswagon around Texas as he researched oil leases.  Something she loved  and she grew fearless about finding herself in new places.

Escaping Abilene to Austin, coming to UT to study theatre.  She saw herself as an actress and dancer and immediatley embraced the energy of the era.

Judy met Karen in the summer of 1973 at a Basic Theater Practice class.  Tasked with painting signs the first day they met, they decided tripping at the lake was a better way to spend the day.  So began their journey together

After the Spring Semester 1975, Judy realized that acting and the process of auditioning was not for her. She spent the summer in Seabrook and Houston before returning to Abilene for the Fall Semester.  Early 1976 was spent in living in Denver and then a period in New Orleans.

We closed on the house on April 1993.  After living in multiple places since 1988 and two years looking, Judy had her new hut.

Judy found Cayanne who was with us for sixteen years.  It was close (not really) at the begining.  In the picture at right, Judy is pointing to the first flower she grew at the house.  Cayanne noticed and ate it shortly after the picture was taken.
