My work as a writer, producer, designer has been seen in many sectors of the communications economy: public, private, non-profit. For each enterprise, I brought skills to match their needs: teaching and course design, information or interaction design, technical writing, video production, live event coordination, team leadership, usability testing, and more.

Public Information & Governmental Clients

To make complex information accessable and usable is always my goal. I have been happy to bring my writing, directing and producing skills to bear to help many governmental and social services agencies get their message across.

Corporate Clients & Awards

Along with my artistic skills, my analytical skills often come in handy. It is useful to be in touch with the "real" world as well as the surreal one.  I am happy to work with many teams of scientists, engineers, managers, and technicians to find the media mix that served their information needs best.

For Century Design and IBM in the late 1980s, I first encountered multi-media (then known as hyper-media) design. This changed the course of my artistic as well as my information design path forever.  I also wrote technical online information on the IBM System Management tool - the first to use TCPIP to help diagnose and fix system administration issues live, on-line. My first experience of the internet before it became the world wide web!

Live Arts & Community Clients

This is a representative list of the arts organizations I have worked with and lead. Music, theater, dance and visual arts of all persuasions continue to be very important in my life and work.

Former Clients from Many Sectors of the Economy

Adult Training & Instructional Design Clients

Though edu-tainment is getting to be a worn concept, when I began in 1986 it wasn't quite so old fashioned. Out of respect for a busy audience, I always strive to make digital training targeted, concise, clear, and entertaining.
