A VIDEO TONE POEM

Window Washing at Sunset
Dances linger in the bones - graceful shadows.

Time flows to a different rhythm in my mind and in my bones.

In my heart, thunder

                                  Whimper run

From day to night. Tonight. To dawn to darkling

                                                                                   and home again

       only it's no longer

                                        there.

That is what time is

                                  fishing unseen boundaries

                                  unknowable crevises for meaning.

                                  "Fishing for Light"*

Time creeps   Time heals   Time is an illusion

                                                                                      Yet the decay is evident.

Smiles leave traces

                  Dances linger in the bones

To cherish     To remember       To carry

To succumb to the popular notion that this is a race.

U won't win if you run too fast, U can't lose if you notice

                                                                                      If you immerse ...

                                                                                                       Swimming in the Light.
